About Us
Experienced Veterinarians
Dr. Ferber has been practicing Veterinary Medicine in Pembroke Pines since 1982. In 1995, Dr. Ferber's Animal Hospital was founded as a small veterinary clinic situated in the western region of Pembroke Pines, catering to the entirety of Broward County and its neighboring locales. We offer routine consultations, surgical interventions, dental treatments and much more. To ensure comprehensive diagnostic services, our facility employs both in-house testing and the expertise of external laboratories. At Dr. Ferber's Animal Hospital, our primary objective is to cultivate a positive experience for both you and your beloved companion.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Jay Ferber
In 1981, Dr. Jay Ferber earned his Veterinary degree in Italy, and has since amassed over 40 years of experience in the field. His expertise encompasses the treatment of a diverse range of animals, including cats, dogs, and exotic species.
Driven by a profound appreciation for nature, Dr. Ferber's passion is reflected in the carefully curated photographs adorning the hospital walls. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Ferber can often be found exploring the great outdoors or enjoying quality time with the latest addition to his family, his grandson, Jackson.
Dr. Juliana Pinzon Coutinho
Dr. Juliana Pinzon Coutinho joined the team at Dr. Ferber’ Animal Hospital in 2012. She obtained her veterinary degree from Mississippi State University. Dr. Pinzon is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She treats cats and dogs. Dr. Pinzon is the proud mother of four beautiful boys. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
